IBM System X 3550 M4

  1. Start the console session.

    Plug a monitor into device using a VGA cable.
    Plug a USB keyboard into device USB port.
    Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.

  2. Reset both System and IMM to factory defaults

    Press F1 at the startup screen:
    F1
    Navigate to Load Default Settings and confirm, then go to System Settings:
    SystemSettings
    Navigate to Integrated Management Module:
    IMM
    Navigate to Reset IMM to Defaults:
    ResetDefaults
    Press Enter to confirm
    ConfirmDefaults
    The erasure dialog appears during the process:
    IMMFactoryDefaults

  3. End the session.

    Unplug power, USB and VGA cables.
