  1. Connect peripherals.

    Plug a monitor into device using a VGA cable.
    Plug a USB keyboard into device USB port.

  2. Reset any Administrator password:

    Remove the top of the server and locate Dip switches 5 and 6, and turn them both on:
    Dip switches
    Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.
    Reset screen
    Unplug the device, resetting both Dip switches 5 and 6 to off before powering back on, then press F9 for "System Utilities":

  3. Set iLO to factory defaults

    Navigate to System Configuration:
    Sysconfig
    On that page navigate to iLO 5 Configuration Utility:
    iLOconfig
    In the dropdown next to "Set to factory defaults" select "YES":
    iLOFactoryDefaults
    Click OK in the Warning dialog:
    ConfirmDefaults
    Click the F12: Save and Exit button:

    In the "Question" dialog click on Yes - Save Changes:

    In the "Information" dialog click on Reboot

    The iLO 5 IPv4 address should be either "Not available" or "0.0.0.0"
