Start the console session.
Plug in serial cable to console port of device from PC COM1 port
Open PuTTY and select "Serial" connection type, leave baud rate (Speed) and other settings as default.
Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.
Erase the configuration.
When prompted press and hold the spacebar:
Alternate BootStrap Image Starting CRC of Default image Using Default image ... Default BootLoader Image DRAM Post Press and hold the <spacebar> to enter the bootrom. Copyright 2003 - 2014
Type the config none command:
BootRom > config none Configuration selected: none
Type the reboot command:
BootRom > reboot Rebooting...
Further output will bring you to the (pending-AAA) login: prompt. DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING. Wait for the "Authentication Service (AAA) on the master node is now available for login." message to appear.
Check the default authentication works.
At the login: prompt type admin and leave the password blank, just press the Enter key:

Do not continue, just turn off/unplug the device.
Copy all the output from the session into your records.
Right-click PuTTY's titlebar, from that dropdown menu click on "Copy All to Clipboard"
Open the file of record certifying the deconfiguration of this device and use CTRL V to paste all the output from PuTTY into that file. Formatting the text with a fixed-width font helps it look more readable.
End the session.
Close PuTTy.
