Dell POWEREDGE 2900

  1. Start the console session.

    Plug a monitor into device using a VGA cable.
    Plug a USB keyboard into device USB/PS2 port.
    Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.

  2. Start the Remote Access Configuration Utility.

    When prompted and before the countdown ends press Ctrl E for Remote Access Setup:

  3. Erase configuration.

    Navigate with the keyboard arrow keys to select the Reset To Default menu item and press the Enter key, then select YES (continue) and press Enter again:

    Allow the resetting process to complete:

  4. End the session.

    Unplug the VGA, keyboard and power leads from the device.
