  1. Start the console session.

    Plug a monitor into device using a VGA cable.
    Plug a USB keyboard into device USB/PS2 port.
    Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.

  2. Reset BIOS to defaults.

    Press F2 during bootup screen:
    Initial screen
    Navigate using the keyboard arrow keys to the Exit screen, highlight the Load Default Values item, press Enter then highlight Yes and press Enter again to confirm:

    Navigate to Save changes and exit, press Enter then highlight Yes and press Enter again to confirm:
    Save settings
    The system will reboot.

  3. Reset CIMC to defaults.

    Press F8 during bootup screen:
    Press F8 for CIMC
    On the CIMC Configuration Utility screen navigate with the keyboard arrow keys to and press the spacebar to toggle the [_] box next to CIMC Factory Default on so an X is in it, then press F10 to confirm:

    You are done when you see the message "CIMC reset to Factory Default Configuration. Server rebooting, Please wait…"

  4. End the session.

    Unplug the VGA, keyboard and power leads from the device.
